Providing mental health counseling to more than 150 students over the past twelve years, from 2012 to 2024, is a commendable achievement for MAKADI Nonprofit. 

Our commitment to supporting the well-being of each young adult we serve demonstrates a strong dedication to mental health care and community support.

Offering counseling services can have a profound impact on their lives, helping them navigate challenges, build resilience, and achieve better mental health outcomes.

In 2019, Makadi Nonprofit participated in the Arizona For Children Foster Festival, where we had the privilege of providing over 100 haircuts for the children in attendance. It was an honor to contribute to this wonderful event, bringing joy and confidence to the hearts of these young individuals. 

Foster children often face unique challenges and may experience feelings of insecurity or lack of self-worth. By providing them with care that includes enhancing their physical appearance and, more importantly, affirming their intrinsic value as individuals, have made a profound impact on their lives. 

In 2023, MAKADI Nonprofit provided crucial support to our community. We partnered with Embrace Grace, a program designed to support pregnant women, particularly teenagers. Providing pampering sessions like manicures, pedicures, and hair styling.

We provided over 60 free haircuts at the Glendale Strong Family back to school event. It's initiatives like these that make a meaningful impact by directly supporting families and ensuring children feel cared for and prepared. 

For our collaboration with the Chrysalis Domestic Violence Shelter, we provided haircuts and donated clothing items. Not only meeting practical needs but also showing them care and solidarity during difficult times. 

In 2024, MAKADI Nonprofit made significant contributions to our community. We had the pleasure of distributing 3,000 gift bags filled with hygiene products, toys, and pocket books at the Arizona for Children Foster Festival. By providing these essentials and treats, we offered much-needed support to children who are facing challenging circumstances in foster care.

Awarding over $75,000 in scholarships for vocational school. By empowering young adults to pursue their career aspirations through education, we're not only investing in their future but also fostering resilience and opportunity within the community.

Education is a powerful tool for personal and professional growth, and support through scholarships contributes significantly to the overall well-being and success of the recipients and the community at large.
